Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of StoryProp, operated by Runebook Labs LLC. By creating an account or using the service you agree to them.

Early access

StoryProp is offered in paid early access: it is a real, working product that is still being finished. Features may change, and rough edges are part of the deal. Your projects, conversations and history carry forward through early access.

Your account

You need a verified account to use StoryProp, you are responsible for activity under it, and you must be at least 13 years old. Each project has exactly one owner; StoryProp has no shared or collaborative accounts.

Your work is yours

As between you and Runebook Labs LLC, you own the material you bring to StoryProp, and StoryProp claims no authorship or ownership interest in the output generated or edited in your projects. To the extent StoryProp holds any rights in that output, it assigns them to you. This does not grant you rights in third-party material you import, quote or research, and it is not a promise that any particular output is copyrightable, unique or non-infringing in every jurisdiction.

You grant us the licenses needed to operate the service — to store, process, transmit, back up and display your content, and to use data as described in the Privacy Policy. That license is for operating and improving StoryProp; it is not a transfer of creative ownership.

Acceptable use

Don't use StoryProp to break the law, to violate others' rights, to attempt to access other people's accounts or projects, or to probe, overload or disrupt the service. We may suspend accounts that do.

AI output

StoryProp's drafts are produced by AI systems working under your direction. Output can be wrong, derivative or unsuitable, and you are responsible for reviewing and deciding what to keep and publish. The creative decisions, and the finished work, are yours.

Payment

Paid access is a subscription with an included writing allowance, plus optional prepaid top-ups you choose in advance; image generation uses separately stated credits. Current pricing is presented at sign-up and at renewal. Payments are handled by our payment processor. When paid or trial allowance is exhausted, AI-powered actions pause; your retained work stays viewable, editable and exportable.

Termination

You can stop using StoryProp at any time. We may suspend or end access for violations of these terms. Data handling after termination is described in the Privacy Policy.

Disclaimers and limits

StoryProp is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind to the extent the law allows. To the same extent, Runebook Labs LLC’s total liability arising from the service is limited to the amounts you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Governing law and venue

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA, excluding its conflict-of-law rules. You and Runebook Labs LLC agree that the state and federal courts serving the Middle District of Florida are the exclusive venue for any dispute arising from these terms or the service, and each of us consents to the jurisdiction of those courts.

Changes

We may update these terms; material changes will be posted here with an updated date and noted in the product. Continued use after a change is acceptance of it.
