Privacy Policy

StoryProp is operated by Runebook Labs LLC (“we”, “us”). This policy describes what we collect when you use storyprop.ai and the StoryProp application, how we use it, and the commitments we make about it.
The one promise we lead with
We do not sell user data. That is StoryProp’s voluntary privacy commitment, and this policy does not water it down with exceptions.
What we collect
- Account data — email address, sign-in identifiers (including Google or Apple identity where you use them), and account settings.
- Your work — projects, manuscripts, drafts and revision history, project records, conversations with the agent, documents you upload, and research the agent gathers for your projects.
- Model inputs and outputs — the material sent to and returned by the AI systems that power StoryProp.
- Usage, device and operational data — how the product is used, logs, and diagnostic information.
- Billing data — handled by our payment processor; we do not store full card numbers.
- Support and correspondence — messages you send to support@runebook.gg.
How we use it
We collect, retain, analyse and use the data above to operate, support, secure, bill for, and improve StoryProp — including internal analytics, product research, and safety and abuse prevention.
Who processes it
Service providers process data on our behalf for the purposes above — including AI model providers that perform inference, cloud infrastructure, payment processing, email delivery and analytics. We do not permit providers to sell your data.
Cookies and analytics
We use Google Analytics on storyprop.ai to understand how the site is found and read. It sets cookies and receives usage and device information about your visit, which Google processes for us as an analytics provider.
How long we keep it
We keep data for as long as we need it to run the service and to meet our legal and business obligations, including draft history and backups. Removing something from view in the product is not the same as erasing it everywhere, and copies can persist in backups for a period. Where applicable law grants you rights over your data — including access, correction or deletion — we honour those rights as the law requires. To exercise them, contact support@runebook.gg.
Security
Provider credentials are held server-side, access to production data is controlled, and we use encryption in transit. No online service can promise perfect security, and we do not.
Children
StoryProp is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
We will post changes to this policy here with an updated date, and note material changes in the product.
